Unimart with L'Officiel

HOW TO: Buy prutas with flair 

On a nice and humid Summer's day, team Leila (this includes Lou) set off for Greenhills to do some extra special grocery shopping. I, being the lame person I am, was suuuuuper super super excited and intrigued because all I knew was that we were shooting on location in Unimart– very cute because Dad basically grew up there and Mum shopped there when she still lived in Manila. 

My first glimpse of the day's wardrobe came when I walked in to see Andrea Ang, Mags Ocampo, Andrea Beldua, and Patricia Medina (AKA coolest people ever) trying on the clothes and planning the layouts. 

Lucky me getting to wear the likes of Martin Bautista, Randy Ortiz, Rajo Laurel, Sassa Jimenez, Chris Diaz and more hehe 🎀

Hair and make up is always my favourite part because it's like a little massage for your head. This sounds really weird and I'm probably the only one that thinks so but being weird is more fun than being boring hA ha 

Shout out to Don de Jesus and Rheiniel Pagdangan for the extra glammy glam.

Despite the flurry of confused faces watching me pose in a way that was more awkward than Next Top Model, I had an absolute ball wearing the clothes and seeing the concept come to fruition. Sipping on bubble tea and cuddling Lou between layouts was an extra special treat. 

Another shout out to Andrea Beldua for being the coolest photographer ever and making posing in sticky heat in front of weirded out Unimart shoppers feel like a breeze.

I wanna say a big big biiiiig thank you to L'Officiel Manila for featuring me on lofficielmanila.com and allowing me to just have some fun. I must mention Pat Medina, who made me feel so at ease when we talked and wrote a wonderful story that was as much me as it could possibly be. I am sooooo lucky. Hope to work with you guys again!
